Dreamforce 2023, the world’s largest customer relationship management (CRM) conference, and as Mr. Marc Benioff called it “the largest AI event of the year.” wrapped up last week after three days of inspiring keynote addresses, announcements, insights and news about the future of business, powered by AI and CRM and facilitating networking opportunities for all the Salesforce heads from across the world.
The major takeaway from the event after all the dust settles down that stands out is that Salesforce is setting the trail ablaze with its vision of AI + DATA + CRM and pushing ahead with its revolutionary wave of AI powered enterprise CRM Solutions for customers.
It did so in style with its new product and partnership announcements.
1. Einstein 1 Platform
A trusted AI platform for customer companies. Built on Salesforce’s underlying metadata framework it gives companies the ability and flexibility to safely connect any data to build AI-powered apps with low-code and deliver entirely new CRM experiences.
2. Free Data Cloud & Tableau Licenses
To encourage adoption and to deliver powerful solutions to customers Data Cloud and Tableau licenses are made free. It’s available for Enterprise, unlimited, and Unlimited plus editions customer with up to 250,000 data service credits beyond which purchase decisions come into picture.
3. Einstein Copilot
A trusted out-of-the-box conversational AI assistant built into the user experience of every Salesforce application. It helps drive productivity by assisting users within their flow of work, enabling them to ask questions in natural language, and receive relevant and trustworthy answers that are grounded in secure proprietary company data from Data Cloud.
4. Einstein Copilot Studio (Prompt Builder & Skill Builder)
Part of Einstein 1 Platform, Einstein Copilot Studio is a suite of tools that enables users to build and deploy their own AI models with custom prompts with actions (Prompt Builder and Skill Builder) without any coding experience. It is a powerful tool that can help businesses to automate tasks, make better decisions, and deliver more personalized customer experiences.
5. Salesforce and Google Workspace integration
Salesforce and Google partnered up to create the first third-party integrations to enable users to seamlessly work across platforms through Duet AI in Workspace, and Salesforce’s Einstein Copilot.
The integration is bidirectional which will allow both Salesforce and Google to extend and leverage powerful capabilities of their respective products and service suites of Einstein Copilot and Duet AI
It allows the powerful capabilities of Duet AI and Einstein Copilot to enable you to use your account, contact, and opportunity data from Salesforce to generate customized Google Slides and Docs and many more possibilities.
6. Salesforce partnership with Databricks (and Snowflake)
Salesforce and Databricks announced an expanded strategic partnership that will support bi-directional data sharing and access between Salesforce Data Cloud and Databricks’ data lakehouse platform.
It delivers zero-ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data sharing in Salesforce Data Cloud. Customers can now seamlessly merge data from Salesforce Data Cloud with external data from the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. With these new capabilities, businesses can reduce the cost and complexity of moving and copying data while maintaining security, governance, and trust, and use their data and AI models to provide better customer experiences.
